The Washington Scottish Pipe Band is a Grade III competition pipe band located in Seattle, Washington, USA. Registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the band was officially founded in 1938, but its roots trace back to the late 19th century, making it the oldest continuously operated pipe band in the Pacific Northwest. The band holds membership in the British Columbia Pipers Association (BCPA) and competes at most of the scheduled BCPA events throughout the Pacific Northwest. For the past 70 years, the organization has displayed the Royal Stewart tartan. == History ==
